Skye's Little Gems started out as a bit of a hobby - you see, I love jewellery!

Having lived on the Isle of Skye most of my life, with its breathtaking scenery and endless landscapes, it was a given fact that my style of jewellery would be inspired by all that beauty we are very lucky to see each day - and still never take for granted

In 2008 I started making some necklaces and earrings for myself and soon there were people asking me where I had bought them and could they have the details. At first I was a little taken aback! People liked my jewellery? I started to take orders from people who wanted certain styles or shades and soon I had, unwittingly, started a croft-house industry!

I believe my passion for jewellery shows in my designs and the care I take with each individual piece. The beads are all of the best quality and I go out of my way to make sure my customers are satisfied with the final product.

Each piece is hand made and therefore as individual and personal as the diversity of people who wear them. The great thing about having something made exclusively for yourself is, no-one else is going to turn up at the party wearing the identical piece!

On this web site I have placed just a few examples of my designs, which are available for sale through the site itself.
